This Privacy Policy describes how Loveland Technologies LLC, dba Regrid (“Regrid”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects and uses the personal information you provide to us on our website and all other websites, mobile sites, applications, platforms and tools where this Privacy Policy appears or is linked, and through the use of our services, (collectively the “Site”). It also describes the choices available to you regarding our use of your personal information and how you can access and update this information.

By creating an account, providing information to us (by any means, whether in correspondence, via our Site, making a purchase via our Site, or otherwise), or continuing to use our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and consent to be bound by this Privacy Policy.

Our Security & Privacy Pledge

We believe that public information should be public. At the same time, we respect and protect the privacy of those who visit or use our Site and use the Regrid services. When we collect information from you directly, we want you to know how it is used. Regrid does not share  personal information we collect from you outside our organization. This isn’t our business model. We do not plan to partner with advertisers and consider it against our values.

How Your Personal Information is Collected

We collect most of this personal information directly from you—in person, by telephone, text or email and/or via our Site. However, we may also collect information:

  • Via our IT systems, including automated monitoring of our Site and other technical systems, such as our computer networks and connections, communications systems, email and instant messaging systems.

How and Why We Use Your Personal Information

We use (process) your personal information for the following reasons:

  • To provide you with our Site, our services, and to provide you with information about us and Site and our service. We identify what information is required to fulfill your registration as a user. If you choose not to provide mandatory information, we will not be able to provide you the service you are requesting.
  • We may need to contact you to inform you of specific changes that may impact your ability to use this service or for other critical non-marketing purposes, such as bug alerts. We may also contact you to respond to your specific requests, to clarify the information you provided to us, or to notify you of upcoming dates.

Who We Share Your Personal Information With

For example, we may use service providers to enhance our website technology, deliver products, or to send Emails. Service providers may not use your personal information for purposes other than to act on our behalf.

We may also need to share some personal information with other parties to the extent we believe it is necessary or appropriate to (1) protect our operations and those of our affiliates and subsidiaries; (2) investigate and prevent against fraud and other illegal activity; (3) protect our rights, privacy, safety, property, and/or those of others; or (4) allow us to pursue available remedies or limit damages that we may sustain. 

We may disclose your personal information for other reasons described at the time of information collection or prior to disclosing your information. Additionally, we may disclose your personal information with your consent or when you direct us to do so.

Except as set forth above, we will not share your personal information with any other third party.

Our Use of Web Technologies

Here is how and why we use some common Web technologies to help manage our Site:

Cookies: A "cookie" is a small piece of information that our Site may provide to your browser while you are at our Sites. The Regrid website supplies your browser with cookies that contain a unique identifier used to better understand website usage in the aggregate and on an individual level so we know what areas of our Site you may use.   • Essential – These cookies are necessary to the core functionality of our Site and some of its features, such as access to secure areas.   • Performance and Functionality – These cookies are used to enhance the performance and functionality of our Site. For example, in order to support chat support for users, or provide performance metric tracking for users. These cookies are nonessential to the use of our Site, however, without these cookies, certain functionality may become unavailable. A mix of first-party and third-party cookies are used.

  • Analytics and Customization – Regrid uses these cookies and technologies to analyze how the Site is accessed, used, or performing in order to improve your user experience and to maintain, operate and continually improve the Site. For example, we use tracking utilities that allows us to see traffic patterns and how you are using our Site, including for troubleshooting and issue resolution purposes. Regrid may also employ service providers to help us collect and understand our Site usage data.

  • Unclassified – These are cookies that have not yet been categorized. We are in the process of classifying these cookies with the help of their providers.

Website Usage Data: Our Site tracks usage data, including, for example, your IP address, your browser type and version, which pages you view, which page, if any, linked you to our Site, and which link, if any, you follow off of our Site. We use this data in the aggregate and on an individual level to better understand Site activity to improve our Site offerings, to reconstruct activity from a session or by a user, for troubleshooting and issue resolution purposes. We may also use this data to provide you a more personalized Site experience, assistance with technical support questions, and to send you service updates or other materials that are relevant to your interests.

Mobile App Usage Data: Our mobile app tracks usage data, including, for example, your phone's make and model, actions you take within the app, which page, if any, linked you to our Site, and which link, if any, you follow off of our Site. We use this data in the aggregate and on an individual level to better understand user activity to improve our Site offerings, to reconstruct activity from a session or by a user, for troubleshooting and issue resolution purposes. We may also use this data to provide you a more personalized experience, assistance with technical support questions, and to send you service updates or other materials that are relevant to your interests.

Global Privacy Control ("GPC") Notice

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a GPC feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing GPC signals has been finalized.

As described in this Privacy Policy we may use automatic data collection technology to record other information that identifies your device and tracks your behavior on the Site. We may automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, cookies, and the pages you request, as well as pages you have visited. We may use third parties to support the Site. 

Therefore, the Site does not comply with GPC settings on your browser.

How Long Your Personal Information Will Be Kept

We will keep your personal information while you have an account with us or while we are providing services to you. Thereafter, we will keep your personal information for as long as is necessary:

  • To respond to any questions, complaints or claims made by you or on your behalf;
  • To show that we treated you fairly; or
  • To keep records required by law.

We will not retain your personal information for longer than necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. Different retention periods apply for different types of personal information. To determine the appropriate retention period for personal information, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of personal information; the potential risk from unauthorized use or disclosure of the personal information; the purpose(s) for which we use or may use the personal information; whether we can achieve the purpose(s) through other means; and the applicable legal requirements. Some personal information has been collected from publicly available sources. We may retain and make such public information available for as long as such personal information is publicly available. 

Security & Your Information

We employ reasonable security safeguards to help protect your personal information from loss, misuse, or unauthorized alteration. 

However, while we strive to protect your privacy, due to many reasons, including the inherent security flaws in the internet, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you disclose to us and, as such, you agree that your disclosure of such information is at your own risk.

Use By Children

This Site and the Regrid service are not designed to be used by to children under the age of 13. Therefore, we don't knowingly attempt to solicit or receive any information from children and our Terms of Use require that all registered users of the Regrid service be at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, do not use our services, access the Site, or provide any information about yourself including, without limitation, your name, address, email address or any screen name or user name you may use.

If we learn that we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, we will purge such information from our database and cancel the corresponding accounts. If you believe we may have any information from or about a child under 13, please see our “How to Contact Us” Section below. Please visit the FTC's website at www.ftc.gov for tips on protecting children's privacy online.

A Note to Users Outside the United States

Regrid is headquartered in the United States and utilizes service providers in the United States and Canada. The Site is not intended for Site visitors outside the United States or Canada. By visiting the Site and providing us with data, you acknowledge and agree that your personal information may be processed for the purposes identified in this Privacy Policy. If you choose to access our Site outside the United States or Canada, Regrid and our service providers may transfer your personal information to, or access it in, jurisdictions that may not provide equivalent levels of data protection as your home jurisdiction. In particular, you are advised that the United States of America uses a sectoral model of privacy protection that relies on a mix of legislation, governmental regulation, and self-regulation. Where the laws of your country allow you to do so, by using the Site or the services or by providing your data, you consent and authorize Regrid to transfer, store, and use all such personal information in the United States and Canada (and any other country where we operate) which may not offer an equivalent level of protection to that required in the country where you reside and to the processing of that personal information by us on our servers located in the United States and Canada, as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not want your personal information transferred to the United States, Canada, and any other country where we operate, please do not submit any information to us or use our Site or the services.

If, in your interactions with the Site, you are linked or directed to, or click on, a third party website, we cannot control what information you may provide to that party or on that website, and we are not responsible for how that party may use or disclose any information you may provide to them. This is not as an endorsement by us of any third party website, content that may be offered on such third party website, or of any products or services provided by such third party. We do not control, nor are we responsible for, such third party website, product or service offerings.
