As we’ve grown into an industry-leading provider of land parcel data, we’ve chosen to adopt the name Regrid because land is always being reshaped, reinvented, and seen in new ways. Our work is not static, nor is the data.
Regridding is also a mathematical term for the joining together of different grids or spatial datasets, which fits us perfectly.
We deeply understand the need across many industries, communities, and efforts to know how land is subdivided, owned, used, inhabited, and networked into economies and ecologies.
To meet this need, Regrid provides a nationwide dataset of land parcel boundaries that is standardized, consistently updated, and easily accessible.
Since land information and property boundaries provide a perfect framework for matching, visualizing, and giving deeper context to other location datasets, we’ve also added building footprints and made it easy to attach any kind of location data to land parcels.

Our company grew up in the civic technology, open data, and advocacy communities of Detroit, Michigan, where we experienced the power of clear property information to inform decision-making and assist a broad array of people.
