1. Regrid sets aside a giving budget

A portion of Regrid's resources is dedicated to supporting nonprofit organizations whose work connects with land, communities and the environment.

2. Our team helps choose where it goes

Each year, a rotating group of Regrid teammates selects organizations to support, bringing different interests, communities and perspectives to the process.

3. We focus our support around land

Organizations are selected from three broad areas that connect back to the places and communities at the heart of Regrid's work.

Land justice and remedies

Support organizations working to address inequities connected to land, property and communities, including the lasting effects of displacement and unequal access to land.

Land conservation and cleanup

Support work that protects, restores and cares for land, water, natural environments and the places communities depend on.

Public understanding of land

Support organizations helping people better understand land, place and the forces that shape their communities through education, research, advocacy and public resources.

Regrid Giving is our annual program for supporting nonprofit organizations doing meaningful work around land and communities. It gives us a way to contribute directly to causes that connect with Regrid’s values and the places our work touches.
Regrid teammates participate in our Giving Committee, helping identify organizations whose work connects with our giving focus areas. The committee brings different interests, communities and perspectives into the program.
Our giving focuses on three broad areas: addressing land injustice and remedies, supporting land conservation or cleanup, and advancing public understanding of land.
Our distributed team spans many parts of the U.S., and the organizations we support reflect that. Regrid Giving has supported nonprofits working across different geographies, communities and missions.
Regrid Giving is currently structured around organizations selected by Regrid teammates rather than a general application process. Organizations looking for access to parcel data for public-interest work may instead be eligible for our Data With Purpose program.
Regrid Giving provides financial support to nonprofit organizations selected by our team. Data With Purpose helps qualifying nonprofits, researchers and academic organizations access Regrid parcel data for projects that serve communities, advance research or improve understanding of land and place.
