The Alliance for the Great Lakes is a nonpartisan nonprofit working across the region to protect our most precious resource: the fresh, clean, and natural waters of the Great Lakes.
They partner with communities and decision-makers to develop actionable solutions that protect the lakes and surrounding communities. Their research and analysis inform community leaders and guide policies to protect the Great Lakes. Through education and action, they support people and communities through action-oriented information and programs.
ReConnect Rondo is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization driven to bring prosperity to the Rondo neighborhood. They are eager to right the wrongs of the devastation caused by the original I-94 construction. They are ready to work with the Rondo community and others in Minnesota to reverse systemic oppression once and for all. ReConnect Rondo is passionate about creating an African American cultural enterprise district connected by a community land bridge.

The Land Loss Prevention Project was founded in 1982 by the North Carolina Association of Black Lawyers to curtail epidemic losses of Black owned land in North Carolina. Land Loss Prevention Project was incorporated in the state of North Carolina in 1983. The organization broadened its mission in 1993 to provide legal support and assistance to all financially distressed and limited resource farmers and landowners in North Carolina.
Land Loss Prevention Project’s advocacy for financially distressed and limited resource farmers involves action in three separate arenas: litigation, public policy, and promoting sustainable agriculture and the environment.
